STEAM 3 - Highlights

As I picked up prize 140 from STEAM Hunt 3 and head back to the beginning for the last thirty or so stops, it is easy to see why this is a popular hunt. There are fewer clothing items this round it seems, as least in the gears that I found. Still, there are plenty of "wearables" including this Steampunk Chindoku Spy Gear from Spectral Daisy. Two versions are provided, sized for both gals and guys.

In need of some furnishings for your Victorian abode? This set from Noctis is outstanding. The accessories on for the writing table come pack with the desk for easy rezzing and also separately for prim counting. The chair has a nice writing pose sized for guys. If you are a gal with a few building skills, you can change out the pose in the chair to something that will fit you better.  The bonus couch is very lovely and comes with plenty of poses. Best of all, this gear was easy to find.

Details abound in the steam hunt and many of the prizes are outstanding. There are plenty of flying machines, laboratory props and all sorts of other timeline techie gear.

This is NOT a beginner's hunt however. Some of the gears are behind things where you can only get to them to click by camming. Some are inside other objects, some have mini hunts within the hunt. Faint-hearted hunters need not apply for this adventure.

This lab equipment is patterned after models from the 19th century.  The detailing and textures are superb. Find it at Hudson's Illuminations.

So keep a lookout for those gears with goodies as you are out flying around your favorite Steampunk sim. Your flight assisting Steam Jetpack MK V from SparkWorks will get you around in style. With on-off particle effects and a built in AO it is a snazzy mode of transportation. I think I'll be taking it with me as I finish up those last thirty stops. Most of the other hunters I have run into are decked out in gear. Always fun to see.
